Andre de Moura Ferreira’s photography in this blog was produced in a 1 year experience where he lived, worked, and studied in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. From August 2010 to August 2011 the artist used digital photography to express his views and perceptions of this city and country.
Andre created this blog to not only utilize common, easy, accessible methods to spread and communicate art, but to also express how everyday ideas can be dealt with quickly and with a certain quality.
The constant flux of daily life in a busy large city is just a huge mental deterioration and disconnection. With the volume of its citizens, a large city, like Belo Horizonte - Brazil, can have moments and affect millions, who themselves, disrespectful, filthy, noisy, but organized in chaos still completely function with vitality. There is beauty in this mess, it’s just a matter how and when one will see it.
Life can be captured in moments, for moments or in a moment, but always in the decisive moment.  There is always where it all matters.
